Vacation Dreaming, Florida Beach Art with Sunset by Judy Batterson

This is a fun sunset and sailboat painting. The setting takes place along at the Intracoastal Waterway which winds its way next to the Atlantic Ocean. Inspired by a "Wish You Were Here" vintage postcard, this is what a Florida vacation is all about!

Moon Over Mosquito Lagoon, a Florida Oil Landscape by Judy Batterson

Mosquito Lagoon is part of the Indian River and the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway. It runs next to Canaveral National Seashore. The meandering tidal flows, oyster bars, mangroves and grass flats create conditions for some of the best fishing in FL and best redfishing in the world. The lagoon is beautiful both day and night, especially by moonlight. 5 x 7" original oil. Part of my "Postcards from Florida" project.

A Day at the Beach, Beach Art by Judy Batterson

A day at the beach means palm trees, sand dunes, sea oats, a sandy path perhaps with a treasure from the sea, and sailboats catching the ocean breeze. I put all of these in this painting to capture the feel of a Florida beach day. The only thing missing is you! 5 x 7" original oil.

Ponce Inlet Sailboat, Small Florida Oil Painting by Judy Batterson

Ponce Inlet is where the river meets the ocean between Daytona and New Smyrna Beaches. Boat traffic is heavy in this area, and on a good day, numerous sailboats are heading out to sea. I like to paint them from the south side of the inlet. This small painting is
oil on a 4 x 4" stretched canvas which sits on a small easel. $45 www.judybatterson.com

Ponce Inlet Lighthouse and Sailboat, Small Florida Coastal Oil by Judy Batterson

Small 4 x 4 x 1" oil paintings of Ponce Inlet at New Smyrna Beach on small easels. The red lighthouse can be seen on the north side of the inlet. This sailboat was healing out to the ocean. I love to go to Smyrna Dunes park and watch the action at the Inlet.
